Hi there. I have been waiting quite a while for the first review of The Winter Pony – and yours was certainly worth waiting for. I’m glad you liked the book, and thank you very much for saying so in such a lovely way. Is it all right with you if I post the review on my (very new) Facebook page? I would love to have it there.

Hi Iain,
Please do! I’m glad you liked the review – I loved your book, though it has been haunting me for a couple of days now. A friend just loaned me a copy of Cherry-Garrard’s The Worst Journey in the World, so I guess I’m getting in even deeper! I’m embarrassed to say I have not read your previous books – but this was such a great adventure story, I think I will have to go back and check them out!
Kirsten
Thanks, Kirsten. I’ll go ahead and post the review. The Worst Journey in the World is a fabulous story. As you might have guessed, Cherry-Garrard became one of my favorite people among Scott’s crew. I hope you enjoy his book. Of my own, I would recommend The Giant Slayer.
